Before your waxing appointment.
First visit tips
- How long should my hair be before a wax?
- About a quarter inch, which is roughly two weeks of growth after shaving. That's long enough for the wax to grip and short enough to be comfortable.
- What should I avoid before and after my appointment?
- Sun, tanning beds and hot showers right before or after. Freshly waxed skin is sensitive to heat for about a day.
- How do I prevent ingrown hairs?
- Gently exfoliate a day or two before your visit, and again twice a week starting a few days after. Moisturize daily in between.
- Is it normal to be nervous about a first wax?
- Completely. Tell us it's your first time and we'll walk you through every step. Most clients find it easier than they expected.

- What is your cancellation policy?
- Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. You can do both from your account page or by replying to your confirmation email.
- What if I'm running late?
- Call or text us. We'll always do our best to fit you in, though a late arrival may mean a shorter service.
- Do you take walk-ins?
- No. We're by appointment only so every client gets a private room and a fresh setup. Online booking takes about a minute.
- Where are you and how do I pay?
