Leg Waxing in Milton, Ontario

Legs are the easiest place to start with waxing if you've never done it. The skin is tough, the hair comes out cleanly, and you'll notice the difference the first morning you skip the razor.

A half leg covers from the knee down, including the knee. A full leg runs from the ankle to the top of the thigh and includes the knee and the back of the leg.

How much does a leg wax cost in Milton?

No memberships, no surprises. The price on the menu is the price you pay. Cash and e-transfer accepted.

What happens during a leg wax?

  • We use strip wax on the legs. It covers a lot of skin quickly, so a full leg doesn't take long.
  • Knees and ankles get extra attention. Hair grows in several directions there and we wax each direction separately.
  • Stray hairs get tweezed at the end, so you leave with nothing missed.
  • Skin can look pink for an hour or two afterwards. That's normal and it settles on its own.

How do I prepare for a leg wax?

  • Grow the hair out for two to three weeks after shaving. Longer is fine.
  • Exfoliate a day or two before to lift dead skin so the wax reaches the hair.
  • Come in with clean, dry skin. No lotion, oil or self-tanner on the day.
  • Wear or bring loose pants or a skirt so nothing rubs on the way home.

How do I look after my skin afterwards?

  • Keep the legs out of hot water, sun and chlorine for twenty-four hours.
  • Moisturize daily from the second day. A light, fragrance-free lotion is best.
  • Exfoliate twice a week after the first few days to prevent ingrown hairs, especially around the knees.
  • Don't shave between visits. Shaving resets the growth cycle and makes the next wax patchier.

Common questions about a leg wax

How long do the results last?
Three to four weeks of smooth skin for most people, and the regrowth is soft rather than stubbly. With regular waxing, hair grows back finer and slower.
Does leg waxing hurt?
It's a quick sting on each strip, and the legs are one of the least sensitive areas. Most first-timers are surprised by how tolerable it is. The area around the ankle and the back of the knee is the most sensitive.
Should I shave between appointments?
Please don't. Shaving brings the hair back thick and all at once, so the next wax is patchier. Let it grow and book your next visit for four to five weeks out.
Can I wax my legs if I have varicose veins or sensitive skin?
Usually yes. Tell us before we start and we'll avoid any raised veins or broken skin. If you use retinoids or have had a recent chemical peel on the area, wait at least a week.
What's included in a half leg?
The knee down: shin, calf, ankle and the top of the foot if you'd like it. A full leg adds the thigh, front and back, up to the underwear line.
