How much does a face or neck wax cost in Milton?

What happens during a face or neck wax?
- Hard wax, applied in small patches and removed without strips. It's the gentlest method for thin skin.
- We'll ask how much you want off. Shaping a hairline is easy; removing everything is also easy. Tell us which.
- A soothing gel goes on right after to take the heat out of the skin.
- Redness is normal for an hour or two, sometimes a little longer on the front of the neck.
How do I prepare for a face or neck wax?
- Let the hair grow for about two weeks. Very short neck hair is hard to grip.
- Skip retinol, acids and exfoliating scrubs on the area for five days beforehand. They thin the skin.
- Don't come straight from the gym or a hot shower. Cool skin is happier skin.
- If you're on Accutane or a similar medication, tell us. Waxing isn't safe while you're on it.
How do I look after my skin afterwards?
- No sun, tanning, sauna or heavy sweating for the first day.
- Skip makeup, fragrance and exfoliants on the area until the next morning.
- Use a light, fragrance-free moisturizer if the skin feels tight.
- Book every three to four weeks to keep the edge clean.
Common questions about a face or neck wax
- Is waxing safe on the face and neck?
- Yes, with the right wax and the right hands. We use hard wax only, in small sections, and we won't wax over active breakouts, sunburn or broken skin. If you use prescription retinoids, pause them for a few days first.
- Does it hurt more than waxing elsewhere?
- It's a sharper sting because the skin is thinner, but each section is tiny and it's over in seconds. Most clients rate it as easy.
- Will I break out afterwards?
- A few small bumps for a day are normal and fade on their own. Keeping the area clean, cool and free of makeup for the first night prevents almost all of it.
- Can I wax if I'm on Accutane or using retinol?
- Not on Accutane. Wait at least six months after finishing it. With retinol or glycolic acid, stop using it on the area five days before your visit.
- How long do neck waxes last?
- Three to five weeks. Hair on the neck grows a little faster than on the body, so most clients rebook on a monthly rhythm.
